How to manage item's stock from Merchant Portal
You can manage whether items appear as in stock or out of stock in your app through the merchant portal.
Automatic Inventory Sync for Engage and Lead tier
For merchants on Engage and Lead tiers, you can sync inventory automatically from your Square POS.
- In your Square settings, turn on inventory tracking.
- When you set an item quantity to zero or a negative number in Square, the app automatically updates the status to out of stock.
Manage stock by item or category
You can update the status of multiple items at once using the items list.
- Go to Menu > Items.
- Select the checkbox next to the items or categories you want to update.
- Select Actions in the upper-right corner, and then select Manage stock.
- Select the location you want to update.
- Select a status: In stock or Out of stock.
- (Optional) For Grow, Engage, or Lead tiers, set an Auto restock schedule
- You can choose midnight or a specific time.
- Select Save.
- Review the summary of changes and select Yes, update stock.
Manage stock for variations and modifiers
If you need to be more specific, you can manage stock for individual variations or modifier options.
- For variations: Scroll to the bottom of an item's settings to find the Variations section. Select a variation and use the Manage stock toggle for each location.
- For modifiers: Go to Modifier groups in the left pane. Select a group, then select a specific option to find the Manage stock settings.
When you're finished with your changes, select Apply or Save to update the app.
